|
|
I have posted in the past on a number of threads regarding teaching issues and resources. This issue seems to come up again and again, so I have decided to post a list of resources that I find useful. This list is by no means exhaustive, but I hope that it will be useful to new and veteran teachers alike.
My resources are designed for teaching adults or universities. Most of these books are available at Kyobo or Youngpoong bookstores. I dont know about other stores as I live near these two.
I realize that this list is incomplete (September 24, 2003), but I will update it as I find more resources and time.

I have decided to temporarily lock this thread. If you have resources you would like to add please send me a pm, I will add them. The purpose of locking this thread is to keep all the resources nicely organized. |
In the near future, I will unlock and what happens happens. I have no resources for children because I dont teach them (and hopefully never will) so please send me all that you have.

Just added the following two books
Quote: |
Teaching English to Koreans Susan Oak & Virginia S. Martin
Learner Contributions to Language Learning: New Directions in Research Michael P. Breen |
Teaching English to Koreans is brand new - I think it just got into the bookstores a couple of weeks ago. This book is very insightful for the veteran and newbie alike; Both psychologically as well as pedagogically. I would highly recommend it to anyone teaching in Korea. A bargain at only 15,000 won.
I haven't had time to look at the other book but am looking forward to reading it as this area of research is probably where I will be doing my dissertation.
