I was thinking about going to the Philippines but I hear it's too rainy... I dont know if the hotels have pools inside either. Cheap though. Anyone else know somewhere better to go where two people don't have to spend $1000 on tickets and hotel? We're just going for a few days and to renew my tourist visa. (And also a little relaxation!) |
from the lonely planet:
Weather Overview
The Philippines is hot and humid year-round. The weather pattern across the archipelago is complex, but can be roughly divided into the dry season (September to May) and the wet season (June to September). There is little seasonal variation in most places with average highs and lows of around 31C (87F) and 24C (76F) respectively. The best time to visit is between December and May when slightly cooler and drier conditions prevail.
October, warm, DRY, cheap also = South China.
Alternatively, jump SOUTH of the equator (southern or eastern Indonesia) and you should also get your sun and a reasonable price - rainy season starts in late October. |
