Which ( or all) in the parentheses of the folloing sentence can be used? ------- the following ----------- Today he is absent from school, (as/which/what) is often the case.

Dear jays, Very simply, 'as' and 'which' can be used. Both sound natural, 'as' being a bit more often used. 'what' isn't right. Ok? -- Eric
