In an article an interviewee says 'I've been married 26 years come October.'
Is the 'come' an adjective meaning 'coming', or is it a misprint?
Thanks. |

Come October = next October, this October, in October, when October "comes"
I would have said, "I will have been married 26 years ......" _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |

In 'come October', is the 'come' an adjective or a verb?

For me it's a verb referring to the arrival of a point in time. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
