Hello,
Please help me with the following sentences.
It doesn't necessarily mean you are any less a man or a woman. It may just mean you are more of a person.
What do "...any less a man or a woman" and "...more of a person" mean here?
Thanks for your explanations! |

Search me - its meaning is unclear.
It doesn't mean that you're any less a man because you can knit, but you're more of a person??
Maybe; but it doesn't work if you substitute woman, as knitting is generally perceived by the population at large as being a skill that women pursue.
It doesn't mean you're any less a woman because you drive Formula one race cars etc...
Perhaps the context would help. |
