Happy New Year!
It's already Year 2008 here in Japan.
My first question this new year is as follows...
Are the sentences below correct?
1. I go to work by car, by train or on foot depending on the weather.
2. You can't come to school by car, by bike or by motorbike. You have to walk here!
I'm not sure if I should repeat "by", or I shouldn't.
thank you!

Hi yoshi-pooh,
a happy new year to Japan. Here in Germany it's still 2007 hehe
Still 6 hours to go in 2007:wink:
About your sentences I think you don't have to repeat "by".
In the 1st example I would say:
"I go to work by car, train or on foot. It depends on the weather."
In the 2nd example I would say:
"You can't come to school by car, bike or motorbike. You have to walk!"
Greetings,
