Could you explain the difference between two sentences of each number?

#1(1)I had my friend died.
(2)I had my friend killed.

#2(1)He had us laughing all through the meal.
(2)He had us laugh all through the meal.

Thanks a lot for your help.

#1(1)I had my friend died. This sentence is not good; it makes no sense.

(2)I had my friend killed. This means that you arranged the death of your friend, and your friend is now dead.

#2(1)He had us laughing all through the meal. It means that he was so funny that he kept you laughing all that time.

(2)He had us laugh all through the meal. This sentence has an unlikely meaning, which is that he told you you had to laugh all through the meal.
Thanks a lot for your help. You're welcome.
