Is the second sentence acceptable?
"These days students don't study long at home. This/It has two reasons."
Thank you in advance!!

That is not what a native speaker would say. They would say 'There are two reasons for this.'
I don't know what you mean by "don't study long at home."

Hello, 2006-san.
Thank you for your reply!!
By my fiirst sentence, I wanted to say "These days, students don't spend much time studying at home."
I mean they go to a cram school or just play computer games neglecting their study.

Hello, 2006-san.
Thank you for your reply!! You're welcome.
By my fiirst sentence, I wanted to say "These days, students don't spend much time studying at home." This sentence is much better.
I mean they go to a cram school or just play computer games, neglecting their study.
