would you use the word in a situation?
Once two friends of mine had a fight ,one of them asked me."Don't you think she's antagonising?"-what exactly does that mean?Is that a very unpleasant word to use?

Well, it means stirring up trouble. Your friend probably should have said something like, "Don't you think she's irritating? She's always antagonizing people -- saying and doing things to cause trouble."
The antagonist in a play is the person who causes the conflict that drives the story of the play. Usually the conflict is resolved somehow before the play is over.
