Which of the sentences bellow is more appropriate? The idea I'm trying to convey is that this department is responsible for organizing the event in which several samba-themes are executed so that one of them can be chosen by the board of directors of the samba-school to be the samba-theme of that year.
"The Department XPTO is in charge of organizing the samba-enredo (samba-theme) choice and the [samba school] rehearsals".
"The Department XPTO is in charge of organizing the samba-enredo (samba-theme) selection and the [samba school] rehearsals".
"The Department XPTO is in charge of organizing the selection of the samba-enredo(samba-theme) and the [samba school] rehearsals"

The idea is that different musicians execute their sambas so that the board of directors may choose the best one, which will be the samba-theme of the school that year.
