A friend of mine told me that "getting all A's" is broken English.
He said that the proper way of saying it is "getting straight A's".
But I think I heard both expressions used in many occasions.
Is he right? |

No, he's not. It's probably a regional difference. I would tend to say "getting all A's" instead of "getting straight A's." |
