Which are correct;

1-He is at home, or else he is at his mother's place.
2-He is at home, and if not, he is at his mother's place.

3-He is at home, or otherwise he is at his mother's place.
4-He is at home, and otherwise he is at his mother's place.

5-He is at home. Otherwise he is at his mother's place.

1.,2., and 5 are OK as they are. 3. is OK if you drop otherwise.
4. is not OK but obviously everybody would understand what you mean.
