I saw the above examples in my dictionary and it says that 'addle' is an old-fashioned word.
So I'd like to know that the word 'addle' is not used among native speakers these days.

| It is used, but not really in common speech anymore (older generations might still use it). You normally see it in written works, like literature or some newspaper/magazine articles. |
