We are previleged to be invited to visit different parts of the country,
and to the treasure of the country by the authorities.
Is this sentence correct?
Thanks a lot for your help! |

No, it is not correct. Apart from the misspelling of "privilege", there are problems with "to". It can be used before an infinitive verb (as in "to visit"). or it can be a preposition, generally implying movement in the direction of something. "To the treasure" is neither.
You would have to say something like "to see its treasure".
And it would sound better with "by the authorities" after "invited". |
