None of them are really wrong, but you should be more clear about who is receiving the benefit of the action using "for/to <pronoun>"
1-When he saw needy and hungry people, he offered his own meals for them to eat.
2-When he saw that we didn't have a car, he offered his own car to us to go to the beach.
3-He often lends his tools to people to repair things with.
4-If the other computers aren't on, he often offers his own computer for others to access the net.
5-He has often offered his shoulder for me to cry on.
And there I've been using shorter forms of the full version: "He often lends his tools TO others FOR them to repair things with." _________________ Try some mini, on-line adventure games to help your English at: www.gameenglish.com |
