He was noticed stealing into the room sounds better to me.
The verb notice means to become aware of. In the second sentence it is used incorrectly.
If you terminate someone's employment you give them notice.
(Here the noun, notice, is used in its sense of a formal declaration of one's intention to end an agreement, typically one concerning employment, or tenancy.) |
