In the following sentence, is the Be verb, "is" neccessary after "his beeper"? I thought it is connected to "overwhemled with", so should be ommitted to be a prepostional phrase.
"My surgeon has been overwhelmed with patients who have fallen on the treachrous winte ice, his beeper is going off every 15 minutes." |
