Thanks for your reply! It's like I'm going to Busan this week and or I will go to Busan this week? Which is grammatically right? |

They're both correct and pretty much interchangeable.
Usually we shorten I will go to Busan to I'll go to Busan next week.
e.g.
I'm going to Manila this week, but I'll go to Busan next week.
OR, I'll go to Manila this week, but I'm going to Busan next week.
Or, I'm going to Manila this week, but I'm going to Busan next week. |

I really appreciated your reply.... Now I know that I can use both of it depending on the sentence. It's interchangeable right?! |

We usually say I will when we make a decision, right now.
"You've finished your homework? What are you going to do tonight?"
'Hmm, I think I will go to the movies later.' (I've just decided to go to the movies)
"We've run out of milk!"
'I'll go to the supermarket and buy some more.' (I've just decided to go and buy some milk)
We say I am going when we talk about plans we've already made, decisions we made in the past.
"Are you going on vacation?"
'Yeah, I'm going to Italy in a week!' (I arranged the trip some time ago)
"Do you want to get something to eat?"
'Oh sorry, I'm going to the movies with Maria.' (I have already made plans) |
