It is possible to �read� others around us, even if they do not intend for us to catch their unspoken communication.

Shall I omit "for" after "intended"?

Most native speakers would probably include the word for here.

In a nutshell:

Sb intends to do st.
Marie intends to move to Chicago next year.

Sb intends (for) sb to do st.
I intended (for) you to finish the report by yesterday.

You may hear native speakers omit the for in the second pattern from time to time, but in my opinion (and opinions may vary) there is a stronger tendency to include it.
