Hello,
Reading English newsparper, I came across the expression "beuty obsessed country"
From my understranding, being obsessed means to think and care about it a lot..
However, the translation says beauty obsessed country is a country abundand of beautiful woman....
Can you help me with this expression?

| A beauty obsessed country simply means that the (people of the) country are continually preoccupied with beauty, occupied to a troubling extent with beauty, or constantly worrying about beauty. |
