Please help check out the following sentence.

Just think about boardroom meetings, people are hesitant to say what is on their mind, which causes meetings to drag on forever.

I think there is something wrong with the sentence. Can I change it into
"Just think about boardroom meetings. People are hesitant to say what is on their mind, which causes meetings to drag on forever." ?


Please help me with the following blank filling.

It is raining hard, so I can't go out now.
= _______ a heavy rain _______ _______ _______ I can't go out now.

Your amended sentence is correct and, in my opinion, an improvement on the original..
Such a heavy rain is falling that I can't go out now.
