Hello, teachers!!
(1) I have a lot of homework to do.
(2) I have a lot of homework to be done.
(3) There is a lot of homework to do.
(4) There is a lot of homework to be done.
Which one is true? In my opinion, (1) and (4) are true.
Thank you so much in advance. |

All of them are grammatically correct and would be understood. No. 2 is awkward and not likely to be said by anyone. The rest are fine. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
