Does 'a great deal on' make sense?
I think that 'a great deal of' is right rather than 'a great deal on'.
Could you tell me if my opinion is right or wrong?
Thanks. |

A great deal of, means a lot of - a large quantity of.
A great deal on something means, a great bargain on something.
So, in this instance you are not correct, but it is always a good idea to question anything that seems incorrect to you. That's how you consolidate your knowledge of the language. |
