A) The short-term memory is sat/located in the hippocampus. Are both okay?
B) The short-term memory r u s h e s o v e r there while you are sleeping.
Does this sentence make sense? It should express that experiences in the short-term memory are translated into long-term memory while dreaming.

Is located is the better answer. Is sat is not correct, but you could say, "sits in the hippocampus..." in informal speech.
I suppose short term memory could "rush over" there, but there's probably a more exact scientific term for it. |
