Here is my question:
In pursuit of his dream to travel around the world, Mario worked there jobs in order to save up his money.
In the above sentence, is "dream to travel around the world" acceptable? Can I say it this way, "dream of traveling around the world"?

The first example is acceptable because "dream" is being used as a noun. Almost any noun can be followed by an infinitive.
Side note: "there" should be "three" (just in case this was for something important). _________________ Pat Mallon
