Hello,
I have read the following in the Quality Digest:

During the brainstorming process, Graham says, a number of elephants in the room are introduced and dealt with, providing yet another benefit to an organizations successful product or service.

What do you think they mean by elephants in the room in this context?

Alexander.

Every one is ignoring the elephant in the room is a way of saying that there is a difficult problem that nobody wants to deal with.
Immigration is an example of an elephant in the room in some countries.
