"How's tricks?" is a slightly dated informal expression used when you meet one of your friends or acquaintances.
Hi "How's tricks?"
"What's new?"
" What's happening?"
"What gives?"
Are similar expressions. |

Thank you. Does "How's tricks?" stand for "How is tricks?" where "tricks" is treated as singular? _________________ Hiromichi |

How's tricks? can be found in the Oxford English Dictionary as an informal expression meaning "How are you?"
Correct grammar would be, "How are tricks?" but grammar is often not important in informal expressions. |
