What does this sentence "Are you mechanical?" mean?


Does "Are you mechanically inclined" have the similar meaning to the above sentence?


Could you tell me the exact meaning?

"Are you mechanical?" literally means: "Are you lacking thought or spontaneity; working or produced by machines etc.
"
In this case it is probably an incorrect way of asking, "Are you mechanically inclined?"
