Hello out there, I'm planning on teaching ESL overseas when I've graduated from University in Spring/Fall 2005, and am researching the best certification, courses, agencies, and institutions to go through to open as many doors as possible. I've done some research and found that a course I was going to take, b/c it was cheap quick and easy, actually doesn't even meet International standards. Right now, I'm trying to decide between a few: Via Lingua; TEFL International, and the Cambridge-ESOL (CELTA) offered through International House. I'm seriously leaning toward the CELTA, since this is the most widely recognized, apparently - but if anyone has absolutely any advice for someone just starting out here, I would love to chat! I hope to hear from someone soon, and take care, Laura
