The following is an entry in www.urbandictionary.com I have doubt on the expression "to get laid". I know what a woman is involved in that expression, but with a man being laid, I am not so sure. I need enlightenment on this.
RAINCHECK 466 up, 22 down
To make a arrangment to do a said activity at another time.
First used when baseball games were rained out and fans were issued vouchers that allowed them to return and watch another game.
Bob was too busy trying to get laid, so he had to take a raincheck on our Halo 2 session. |

to get laid = means to have sexual intercourse with someone.
Trying to get laid means he was on a date with a girl hoping that he would finish up in bed with her. |
