|
|
Hello. I have a question about verbs collocating with eyebrows. Please look at the following collocations and tell me which ones are correct and if there are any differences in meaning of those collocations. Thank you.
1. pencil one's eyebrows
2. pencil in one's eyebrows
3. draw one's eyebrows
4. draw on one's eyebrows
5. shape one's eyebrows |

| I'm a guy who doesn't do anything with his eyebrows, but I think many women pencil their eyebrows |

Thank you for your help.
By the way, is only 'pencil one's eyebrows' an acceptable collocation? Among the above examples, aren't there any other collocations which are acceptable or commonly used?
I'd apprecaite it if you could help with this as well. :D |

I suppose "pencil in" might be used, but I'm not sure it's a collocation.
You can certainly "shape" eyebrows, but I would say it's not a collocation.
I have checked with my daughters they think pencil is the one. |
