Hello! Thank you for viewing this topic.

I have a question and I need your help, please.

I read a story on "Tumble Books" which title is Moishe's Miracle.
And there wrote "Baila untie her knippel..."
I found it in several dictionaries but still couldn't find what it mean.
Can anyone kindly answer my question?

I'm glad to share ideas with you Very Happy

It's not an English word. It may be Yiddish or German.

According to Google (Knippel Yiddish) it is a Yiddish word whose first meaning is "knot" like the knot you would tie in a handkerchief to hold some coins. You can check the links to see what other meanings it has if that one doesn't fit.
