Dear teacher,

______ about the future of his son, who does nothing but play around, Mr. White has determined to send him to the military.
a) Worry
b) Worried
c) To worry
d) To be worried

Could please tell me which one is correct and WHY?

b is correct. (and it's the only participle in the list)

(Because he is) Worried about the future.......
