(= We can see models laughing on posters)
Is the `from posters� acceptable or is it a serious mistake? |

I understand what you mean, but it's not how I'd choose to express it. You might be able to get away with it as a more literary style, but I really don't think people would talk that way.
It would be better to say: "On the posters good-looking models are laughing" or something like that.
