Dear teachers,
I have read the novel "Alice in Wonderland" published by Peguin Readers.
While reading, I found that when Alice dropped into the hole, the novel wrote, "She looked round and looked down."
I'm curious about the word "round".
Can I replace it by the word "around"? (look around)
Or it doesn't matter to use either "round" or "around"?
Thanks a lot!
Best wishes,
Cherry Tan ^_^ |
