Dear teachers:

I have a problem about pronunciation.
In the country which the people don't use English as the official language, How do we learn American's pronunciation when we speak English? In others words, How do we speak English like Americans?

You probably have Internet access, right? I thnk a good place to start would be to look on YouTube for videos. There are many ESL videos that focus specifically on pronunciation, so you could search on "American pronunciation" or something like that. You can also watch YouTube videos of American sitcoms or other programs, for example.

Another source of American pronunciation would be to listen to Voice of America News (http://www.voanews.com/). One nice thing about listening to VOA is that they also have a "special English" version (http://www.voanews.com/learningenglish/home/) where they speak more slowly and more clearly - if you find the regular news programs to be too difficult to listen to.

These ideas should give you someplace to start Smile
