I am 67 years old with B.S. in business, M.S.F.S. in Financial Services, a J.D. in Law from good schools and with two professional, business oriented certifications. I am about to go to a Celta school but still worried about age bias. Valid concern? Will my other education and experience offset my age and possibly set me up (with just a little teaching experience) to teach at a higher level?

You might consider posting in the Teacher Forums, or the Job Forums about this, depending on where you are interested in teaching, and what levels. For example, I don't know what the situation is overseas, but there are people in the other forums who have experience there.

Are you looking for a full time job? You will probably encounter age bias at times. Try South Korea but avoid FLIs or "hogwans". Go university but be sure the ad is for teaching university students not at a "university hogwan"! There are possibilities in community colleges in a number of the island countries in Micronesia that need skills and aren't so concerned by age, in fact follow US guidelines and conduct thorough background checks.
