Please, I's like to know if these two sentences are correct:
Much to his delight Martin was selected for the hockey team.
Much to Martin's delight he was selected for the hockey team.

| I don't know the "rules" but they both sound okay to me, although I'd put a comma after "delight" and I don't know why either! |
