Dear teacher,
Please advise me why it is:
This page intentionally left blank
Instead of
This page "is" intentionally left blank
Isn't it supposed to be a passive voice? Because people want this page to be blank??

| You are right that "this page intentionally left blank" is not a complete correct English sentence. It is shortened from "This page has been/is/was intentionally left blank." That kind of short form is used for signs and headlines too. |
