Dear teachers,

I have a question about the pronouncing of "asked".

I know the "ed" sometimes is ignored when the speaking rate is

fast. I just wonder how to pronounce it correctly.

Try to pronounce it the way it is spelled here: ask'd

Actually, when speaking fast, the "k" sound is skipped.

I as'd him to give me the papers.
