Somehow the use of the verb in the present tense doesn't sound right, here.
So, No.1 is wrong. You don't ask a question to someone.
No. 2 may be grammatically correct but you would normally say, I am posting this question to him (progressive) Are you sure you don't mean "pose" instead of post?
No. 3 I ask this question of him, is grammatically correct but you would normally say, I am asking this question of him
No. 4 is grammatically correct but I am asking him this question is more common. |
