I am very glad you like the Lord of the Rings. They are some of my favorite movies also. I just wanted to tell you to please, please not write with three exclamation points (!!!). It is much better to only use one (!) exclamation point and one question mark (?). Thought I'd point that out.

Cheers

Hi! I like The Lord of The Rings, too. Razz
I see the 2nd and 3rd films in the movie theater, but I felt the scale of the film is very large. Shocked
I think "the lord of the rings" is worth seeing in the movie theater.
I like Orlando Bloom because he is so cool, especially in the The Lord of The Rings.
Embarassed
I hope the big scale movies, like the lord of the rings, will be made again. Very Happy

Sorry to rain on your parade but I have decided to go on a crusade against the LoTR films. They are atrocious.

Peter Jackson has decimated the story. He has committed cold blooded murder with his so called interpertation of the books.

I went to see the first film in a proper cinema, I couldn't wait to see it. In fact I have been following the process of making the film on the net since 1998 (or 9 can't remember...) and I couldn't believe my eyes.

The second film I saw on DVD and suffered through every second of it.

I couldn't sit through the third film (which BTW has nothing to do with the book. A friend told me he even changed the ending!)

For goodness sake - do something productive - read the books they are SO much better than all 3 films, individually or together, it is almost unbelievable how much more entertaining, exciting, breathtaking they are than the films. There's so much more in them on the whole than in the fims - even the fighting scenes are so much better (to think what he did in the Helm's Deep scene.... (DEEP DEEP SIGH).

Only good thing I have to say is about the look of the films.
Good G-d the man had captured Middle Earth and Tolkien's descriptions in an almost uncanny breathtakingly way. AMAZING!!!!! Cudos to that.
My mouth literally dropped to the floor seeing Lothlorien which I admit I could never imagine (Okay, I admit I could't get the idea of a whole city on a tree, I'm sort of like challenged in that way Very Happy ...)

You really want to claim you absolutely love LoTR - well... read it so you'll really be able to really love it. Tolkien deserves so much more than what the so called greatest fan had done to it.

I can only pray he won't do the Hobbit - poor Bilbo...

Sorry for the long message - at least it's not as long as the first (or second, or third....) crusades Very Happy

Hang Fast - Read A Book

I really love the Lord of the Rings as you!!

I always watch it if I'm available.

I saw the extended versions.

There are may fans like you in Korea.

I really wish Peter Jackson to film Hobbit.
