I have a part-time job.
It's working in the cafeteria.I make bread and some drinks there.
Although it gets very tired,I love the job!
Do you have any part-time job?
Do you like the job?

I worked a part-time job for six years from 1997 to 2003. It was in a fast food restaurant, and I did everything, from cooking to cleaning to customer service. I was even a manager for awhile. I liked the job, enough to stay there, at least.

Hi 10kana01 and LucentShade
I haven't had a part-time job during my vacations. I always study( prepare for the next term) and play .But if I have some days off from school, such as Sunday afternoon, and if it happened to be a festival, such as
Valentine's Day, I will do something. Last Valentine's Day, some of my friends and I bought some roses and sold them in streets. I did it for happiness, not for money. Wink
In fact . I don't like working for sb, I like doing my own things. That is much interesting. However, I don't think I will run my own companyor factory years later. I may do research or work for somebody else.

I have been working for about 3 weeks. I work part-time at the butchery of a supermarket. In the beginning it was no fun. Always packing, cleaning and sorting. And the staff wasn't that friendly. But after a while you are getting to know all the procedures and the staff gets friendlier by the day. One day, I got promoted. Instead of just a worker, I got to be the chief's assistant (every sector has his chief). I love my job Very Happy

Hi all!
I'm a student and it's rather interesting to work somwhere. Espesially, if u like your work.
Personally I work not for money, just for pleasure.
Some time ago I was a teacher of dancing. I worked with the groups of children from 7 to 14. And, I must admit, it were the most awful days of my life. Working with chilfren is too hard!
Now I'm an instructor in the fitness-club. I give classes of step, slife, dancing, bodysculpture etc. At first it was difficult as I often lost my voice, trying to speak louder than music. But then I got used. Working with adults is definitely more pleasant than with cildren!
And finally: part-time job is a good way to find lots of new friends, spend time with pleasure and what's more, get money for this!
Very Happy

Hello,my dear all! I want to share some of my opinion and experience working on a part-time job.
I worked in a English-teaching local organization just three days a week since I was a junior in college.
My part time job is being a English teacher teaching short conversation with kids through the telephone.
At the begining, I have never connect with this kind of job, I was unfamiliar with lots of teaching skills and the trivial things in that kind of big company which worked with all the coworkers.
It was quite a special experience working with my part-time job.
In fact, I was really satisfied with the pay for the job. No matter how industrious work I have, I will do it outmost for my teaching!

I m a student in King Mongkuts University of Technology Thonburi. Now I am looking for a part-time job to do in this summer. In my view, I should do something to take advantages for me in this summer, or I waste time and waste parents money a lot. Instead eating and shopping or anything that we called nonsense, Part-time job can make some money. However, it is not enough money to pay our personal expense, but we can save some money that we beg from our parents. By the way, I suppose my income from a part-time job can decease parents outlay. Moreover, I do believe part-time job will make me feel very proud and more reasonability, too. If you assign your time properly, so you wont have a problem from learning in school. I think, you should work it in vacation better. Shocked

Oh my Gosh, hihi peoples...newbie here!

I feel awkward in saying this but I have a part time job as well and please not let me be the one who first says this demo, "Am i the only one who hates my job?" I hate it, absolutely am horrified in going back there. I feel like a robot just waiting for the next customer to cash in their dough, process the change, and smile with glee until the exit the doors. I admit it, i'm socially inept. tee hee. Ciao!

The Caffeine Addict<--that sure does explain a lot rite? Laughing

Well, i have a part-time job in fast-food restaurant. It's not like i hate it, but if i had any other choice... btw, all that people who wrote that they love their jobs in fastfood restaurants... Come on people, who are you kidding? Working in the fastfood is probably one of the worst jobs there ever was... You working f'n hard, you got tired sooo much and all that for some goddamn scanty paycheck. And then you writing "oh, i love my job!!". Yeah, right...
