Out of curiousity, why is the idea of Taiwan not being a part of China so important to you personally?

I haven't come here for a long time.
I think it may be a space for us to chat here.
A classmate of mine who is from Taiwan surport Taiwan is an indepedent country .but we accept her.
Chinese government has many desigins for Taiwanese which will do good to them.For example the students from Taiwan can study in the Peking Universitywith lower marks.They can graduate without having exams.
I think it's not fair.Still, so many young people from Taiwan againest"one China".
