Laughing you two talk about nearly the same things, i think!
because if you are rational in using the internet - or however - you follow these rules more or less automatical. i would never be so careless to give my tel number or address or anything else to strangers in the internet. even with my emailaddress i try to be careful. and i don't give too much information in profiles or sth like this, for example.
of course it's possible to find out nearly everything about a single person in the internet if this person knows much details about internet and hacking maybe.
but okay, i can't avoid everything, i only can be careful Wink
ciao, Sarah

Stellara, I suppose you are a grown woman, and as such, you have learned to be careful in some situations. I think it is the younger children who are at risk, mostly.
Of course, nothing can actually happen to you physically if you do not meet anybody in person.

hey, "not that grown up" i hope you're only referring to my age not to my brains! Cool Wink otherwise, thank you for the compliment!

but you're both right, i'm quite rational (for my own assessment) and have made some experiences so i hope i'd be able notice if sth goes wrong.

i think too that there are many multifarious experiences you can make in the net, and they mostly are good and worth making them.

greets

i don't think it's "easier" to talk about certain stuff in the net. maybe that just seems to be so because there are much more people in the internet and so there's also a higher chance to meet someone who you can talk or discuss with very good.

what do you mean by this:

Quote:
we think it's impolite and we'll seem funny if we talk to other guys
?

what's impolite and why do we seem funny when talking to other guys?

greets Very Happy Very Happy (i'm so happy at the moment!!!)

i registered here just so i could post on this topic:

i think internet love is something that does exist. i was never looking to fall in love with someone over the internet, because i have no trouble meeting women when i go out. im in my mid 20s and about 7-8 years ago i started talking to this girl in a chat room, ever since i have kept talking with her, there are days that go by when i dont talk to her, but she is the person i talk to with the most consistancy. we have been together several times after we first met a few years ago. at first i didnt want to think that i was actually in love with someone i met off the internet, but over time i grew comfortable with the idea of it. now i have no problem turning other girls down, knowing that i will be with the girl i love in the future. the one thing ive learned the most from this is that life is random and you really dont know what to expect.

hello Wink
at first i don't think that the boy should be older than the girl because there are always girls who are pretty immature for their age so they "fit" to younger boys and also vice versa.

and I wouldn't speak about the certainty of two people who'd meet your "conditions" coming together. because that's something that depends from much much more than these three things although the first two might be important.
but there's always a kind of.. ahm, unconsciously perception that determines the decision of coming together or not. sometimes two people seem to be the really perfect couple but can't stand each other
Shocked Very Happy

and i know several couples who don't have the same interests (some not even approximately) and love each other very much.

I think you can't determine the term "love" because it's different for each person and it has so much unconscious influences you can't even exlain.
i like the discussions about this issue, though, because it's very interesting to know what other people think! Very Happy

ciao
