Hi,

The truth is that it's hard to explain in some lines what Spain is like. There are so many costums here. There are several costums like paella, bullfights and so on

Take care

Hi everyone!

I'm Jesus, I'm 19 and I'm from a very beautiful historic city of Spain, Toledo. I was reading your talk about my country and I decided to reply you letting you know some things about Spain.

I'd like to start with the language: Spanish. This is my native language and I find it more difficult than English! What English students find most difficult in our language is verbs tenses; I mean, in English the verb change lightly but in Spanish the verb is always changing in each personal pronoun... and then we have some "irregular" verbs too.

I find differences in the vocabulary. In English we can "create" new words by blendings, compounds, .... That occur in Spanish but no with the same frequency than in English.

To finish, I would like to tell you something about our culture, although it's quite difficult to explain "our culture", becuase in each region differents traditions are celebrated, but we have some that are very typical, for example, processions, dances (sevillanas, jotas..), bullfighting, ... But, what is amazing is knowing the different traditions of each region... and not only know it, but also see it!

see u later,
jesus
