Sorry, I don't know much about the universities themselves, but I know a bit about the areas of Texas (TX), though nothing about Kentucky or Indiana.

Corpus Christi in on the Gulf Coast. It is always tropical hot and sweltering. The city is a fishing port and tourist destination. That area of TX is most famous for its massive Spring Break parties (during the Easter holiday, many schools including universities have a 1 week holiday, and college students go to Padre Island near Corpus Christi to get drunk and have wild parties). Due to its location near Mexico, you will probably need as much Spanish as English. If you don't mind heat and humidity (personally, I can't stand the steaming humidity), it's not so bad. You are about a 2-hour drive from any other place interesting (San Antonio, Houston, Austin).

West TX A&M is near Amarillo, TX in the panhandle region. It is a gawdawful expanse of flatness, flatter than the ocean, a sea of flat agriculture and cattle ranches without trees or hills or anything. You are at least a 1-day drive from any place interesting. The ony thing nice I can say about it is that the people of TX are generally friendly and helpful. If the business you want to study is the business or operating a farm, then this is the place to do it. But seriously, unless you are born in west TX, you do not want to be there.

McNeese State University is situated on the Gulf Coast same as Corpus Christi though about a half hour from the ocean. Again, more heat and humidity. It is about halfway between Houston and New Orleans, each about 2 hours away by car. Not much there in Lake Charles itself unless you like fishing, but it's a lot nicer and greener than west TX.

thanks for your useful information bro Bob S, i think i would chose either Corpus Christi or McNeese because there is quite near my aunt's house.By the way, how do you think about Corpus Christi and McNeese in term of their reputation and credibility, and also if i want to study business like accounting in each of them, which one is better for me.

Texas A & M is probably the most well- known, and I think, highly regarded.

I agree. I've never heard of McNeese University before, but almost everyone knows Texas A&M. Its main well-known campus is at College Station near Austin. Though I have no idea about the quality of its satellite campuses (campii?).

I would prefer Texas A&M. Becase I used to live in Texas and my friends chose to go there. Well, now I 'm living in Japan so I really don't know much about Texas A&M. I just wanna say one thing is that Texas A&M is not a bad university thought.

Regards,
Michelle
