soccer, definitively Laughing

i'm german, and the main sport here is soccer/football.. we also have a lot of good or very good players but i myself think they are much too arrogant and self-confident.
i also think it's unfair that one can earn millions of euro just because he's good at scoring.. Shocked Laughing

greets

German soccer guys are sexy and attractive, like Oliver Kahn . that is why I love to watch soccer. actually, I am not a soccer fan, when I watch soccer games, I am actually watching those handsome guys Laughing

wow, you don't like him? Shocked yeah, everyone has the different taste.

For me, Oliver Kahn is very powerful and charming! he is like a lion! and when he opens his big mouth and shouts out, he looks like a raving lion! very manly.

Here in China, many girls like him. he is so cool.

In China, table tennis(ping-pong) is a popular sport. most Chinese people are good at this sport. as you know, now Chinese people almost monopolize this sport. of course, that isn't good for the development of Ping-Pong.

No suspense, No enthusiasm. if you go watch a sport-game, and you actually can predict the result of this game, then this game is very boring.

As a Chinese, one hand, I am proud of Ping-Pong's success of Chinese people, on the other hand, I worry that maybe this sport is going into a narrow channel. I hope more people focus on Ping-Pong.

but i thought that ping-pong is not exactly the same as table-tennis?! in germany, you play ping-pong for fun and in your freetime, not professionally. table-tennis has its own strict rules and there are contests of table-tennis. but maybe in english these two expressions are interchangeable.. Wink

greets Very Happy

I don't exactly know whether or not Ping-Pong=table tennis in english. but here in China, Ping-Pong is such a sport by which people can play it at free time as an entertainment, and it also has its strict rules when it is a contest.

But frankly, 2002 worldcup is widely considered as a cheat scandal. few people trusted in the result.

especially for Italian team, and Spanish team, , the judgement was totally unfair. and Korean team's success was doubtable.

You are right Mr.Admiral.

I played tennis table for 3 years. I know chinese players are the best on the world Smile
Chinese players keep the rocket in other way than in Europe:P I tried this handle on the training, so strange, but you can play faster this way.

I don't want to argue about controversy on judgement of 2002 world cup.
I just want to tell korean like soccer.

Yes, in the chinese way, the handle is more secure.
But in the european way you can cut the ball much easier. I tried this out, but after ten seconds I had to change it back because it gave my hand too much freedom and I couldn't control it.
