Dear all,
I got questions:
1) "you are grounded", i doubt if it is used to discipline a kid?
2) "look out for someone" : you always look out for me, what's this sentence mean?
Thanks ahead for the kind help! _________________ inu |

It is actually very common, especially for parents who do not wish to spank their kids.

"Look out for" = take care of; show concern for; give sensible advice to...
So...
You always look out for me = You always show concern for my wellbeing, give me good advice, and/or help me. |

If kids are grounded they are not allowed to leave the house for a certain time as a punishment, or perhaps are restricted in some way. Kids woud be allowed to go to school but must stay at home at other times and must not go out to play or have friends in to play with them. Perhaps there might be restrictions om watching TV or things like that. |

Airplanes or pilots can also be grounded if they are unfit to fly.
To watch out for sth/sb means to be careful of, look for them or it can mean to take care of sb. |
