Dear teachers I�m a Brazilian student and I�d like to know how to say "vale" in English,here in my country when the employee ask for money in advance before his month salary we call it "vale".Thanks for your help. |

It rhymes with these words:
mail, male, pale, sail, sale, bale, bail, fail ...

OK. If you mean, "What's the English word for the Brazillian word 'vale'?"
then the answer is "an advance on my salary". I don't know of a single word in English to mean the same thing.
If that's not what you mean, then I don't understand your question. Sorry. |
